The project will incorporate multimodal systems to accommodate automobiles, transit, public safety vehicles, pedestrian and bicycles in order to maximize and maintain mobility across Indian Creek. The project will promote active transportation and encourage walkability and bicycle access by maintaining sidewalks and providing a trail across Indian Creek. Providing a trail across the bridge allows for a trail connection over the bridge to the Indian Creek Trail.

Project Description: Reconstruction of the College Bridge over Indian Creek. Primary users include motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists. The project will maintain the system efficiency the College Boulevard corridor. The project also provides for system preservation of City infrastructure.
Scope: The existing bridge that was built in 1975 is scheduled for replacement in 2025. Currently the bridge includes six through lanes and two turn lanes. These lanes would be replaced with the same section. A bike/hike trail would be added to the bridge to allow for a connection to the Indian Creek Trail.
