The infrastructure improvements include updating about 4.5 miles of the current two-lane asphalt road to a new divided 4-lane roadway with curb & gutter and sidewalks. The work will generally be along the existing footprint of 103rd St. between Evening Star and the Lexington Ave./K-10 interchange, and about one mile of the section on Main from 103rd St. south to the new project site.

Project Description: The Project is located generally along the existing footprint of 103rd Street between Evening Star Road and the Lexington Avenue/K-10 interchange and includes approximately one mile of the section on Main Avenue from 103rd Street south to the proposed Panasonic Energy Company electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility. The roadway is currently a two-lane asphalt roadway, and the Project will upgrade the roadway to approximately 4.5 miles of new, divided 4-lane roadway with curb and gutter as well as sidewalks, on-street bike lanes, and a shared-use path. Additionally, the Project includes intersection improvements at Evening Star Road, Edgerton Road, and Main Avenue.
