Routes, interchanges and/or intersections: From the interchange at Interstate 435 and Hwy 152, Hwy 152 would extend (4 lane divided) west to K-7 located in Leavenworth County, Kansas. Project will include a new bridge over the Missouri River.

The project will provide a new connection from Leavenworth County to Platte County. The proposed project will provide an alternate route for freight, motorists, and commerce between the two Counties. Improvements will include both pedestrian and bike modes.

Project Description: The intent of the project is to provide an expansion of Hwy 152 to Leavenworth County. The project will include roadway and bridge expansion. Improvements will include both pedestrian and bike modes. The primary users will be motorists and frieght.
Scope: Travel modes include freight, motorists, pedestrians and bicycle modes between Leavenworth County and Platte County. The system expansion includes approximately 8 miles of improvements. Major activities included 4 lane highway expansion and a bridge over the Missiouri Rivier. Expected outcomes included 1) Shorter travel time for freight and motorists between the two counties, 2) Spur regional economies, 3) General growth, and 4) pedestrian/bicycle modes between State lines.
