Project Description: Implement the recommendations of the Midtown Complete Streets Plan with the goal of improving the multi‐modal environment of the corridor and development of activity centers as described in the Midtown Area Plan
Scope: Project reconstructs Broadway Boulevard to the PSP’s Midtown Complete Streets Plan and the existing Broadway Streetscape plan. The project will rebuild the street and upgrade it to a two lane boulevard with center turn lane and separated bike facilities, wider tree lawns and sidewalks on both sides of the street. It will be designed to maintain the character of the area as desired by residents during the Midtown/Plaza Area Plan planning process and the existing Broadway Streetscape. Project will include constructing an urban complete street with sidewalks, streetlights, bike lanes, curbing and green stormwater infrastructure.
