127th Street east Parker/K-7 and west of Hedge Lane is classified as an arterial street. This new link connection would help alleviate the traffic demand for nearby arterial streets such as Santa Fe Street and 119th Street. Any new connecting link would be constructed with options for bike lanes, shared use paths, sidewalks, and transit facilities to encourage different transportation modes. This 127th Street connection would likely be a safer corridor for none motorist commuters to travel.
