The project will incorporate multimodal systems to accommodate pedestrians and bicycles in order to maximize mobility throughout the corridor. The project will encourage walkability it does not currently exist. The facilities will provide construction of sidewalks multi-use paths and provide connections to existing pedestrian facilities.

9. Project description: Streetscaping and hardscaping to create a more favorable pedestriam realm along 87th Street from US-69 east and north to 83rd Street. Primary users will be pedestrians and bicyclists.
10. Scope: The project will serve pedestrians and bicyclists that use the 2.0 mile corridor. Sidewalks will be built to connect to existing sidewalks in the area. Multi-use paths will be constructed to accommodate pedestrians and bicyclists.
11. Project schedule: Construction is anticipated to take place between 2035 and 2040.
