133rd Street east of Mur-Len Road is classified as an arterial street. A corridor study is currently underway for Santa Fe between Ridgeview Road and Mur-Len Road. As part of that study the City is looking at options to make another crossing of I-35 Hwy in the vicinity of 133rd Street. This new link connection would help alleviate the traffic demand for Santa Fe. Any new connecting link would be constructed with options for bike lanes, shared use paths, sidewalks, and transit facilities to encourage different transportation modes. This 133rd Street connection would likely be a safer corridor for none motorist commuters to travel. This 133rd Street connection would extend east to Brougham Drive.
