This is a bridge rehabilitation project with regional significance. It facilitates the movement of freight by remaining in good condition.
6. Project Purpose: * System preservation, rehabilitation or replacement )

8. Total budget in 2019 dollars: $15230000
9. Project description: The primary users will be motorists, freight and transit users. This is a bridge rehabilitation to maintain our system in good condition.
10. Scope: This is a bridge rehabilitation to maintain our system in good condition. It will consist of a redeck and possibly some superstructure repairs. This bridge is located on I-70 which has a very high AADT and it is a bridge greater than 1000 feet which classifies it as a Major bridge.
11. Project schedule: This will be completed in 2020-2030. It is scheduled with our Central Office design for 2029.

I support this rehab project. It is also important to me that Highway 9 is brought down to grade at the southern end of the bridge and that the bridge is maintained to support rail transit to NKC.
