Project Description: The primary purpose of the Elm Street project is to provide a safe and reliable transportation collector route for both motorists and pedestrians.
Scope: From the past improvements at the intersection of Elm Street and MO Route 7 east for 3,900 feet to Lincoln Road, this project consists of the widening to 3 lanes with a dedicated turn lane and pedestrian sidewalks on each side of the road. The existing road has deep and potentially dangerous ditches on the north side that is now beginning to undermine the pavement.
