1. Project name: intersection improvements to reduce congestion and enhance safety
2. City(ies), County(ies), State: These improvements will be located in various counties and cities within the MARC region.
3. Routes, interchanges and/or intersections: Various intersections throughout the MARC region will be included based on need at the time of implementation. Example routes include MO-350 from 63rd to Noland, MO-291 from I-70 to US-24, US-40 from I-435 to Woods Chapel Road and US-24 from I-435 to MO-291.

This project will remove barriers and create safer connections for pedestrians and bicyclists at various intersections as well improving operations for vehicles and freight.

9. Project description: The purpose of this project is to reduce congestion and enhance safety at various intersections for motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists.
10. Scope: This project will involve numerous intersections and is expected to serve all users from motorists and freight to bicyclists and pedestrians. The expected outcome is to reduce congestion and increase safety through various measures like geometric improvements, signal coordination, turn lanes, improved bike/ped facilities, etc.
11. Project schedule: These improvements will be implemented as elements of various project in MoDOTs current STIP and beyond that as well. These may occur throughout the entire LRTP time frame of 2020-2050.
