Routes, interchanges and/or intersections: The improvements potentially include but are not limited to sections of Route 78 in Independence from I-435 to MO-291, MO-7 in Blue Springs from Pink Hill Road to Mason School Road and US-69 in Kansas City from I-29 to I-35.

This project will increase pedestrian mobility which will lead to better access to transit stops along several MoDOT routes. Also, taking cars off the road and providing an off-road option for pedestrians will reduce congestion.

Project Description: This project will increase pedestrian mobility and safety by providing sidewalks, ADA upgrades and other improvements for pedestrians at various locations.
Scope: Pedestrian facilities will be improved on various routes and could include sidewalks, ADA upgrades, crosswalks, ped signals and other improvements.
