Reopening the bridge will allow emergency vehicles to reach residents by providing a shorter arrival time for the affected areas of the west side of the lake. Having the bridge in use would also create a complete connection within the city allowing for shorter commutes within and to other destinations for the residents.
Project Purpose: * System preservation, rehabilitation or replacement )
Project Description: The project would replace our dilapidated wooden bridge and bringing it up to current standards, allowing the bridge to once again be used by motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, and emergency vehicles.
Scope: The bridge is a single lane that crosses the outlet of our lake. Our current bridge is 104 ft long and 11 ft wide. We have consulted with Bartlett & West and they have provided us with 3 options for the replacement of our bridge. I have attached a copy of the BEAP report that details the scope of each project.

The bridge needs funding so that vehicles, bikes, and pedestrians that live in the Brenners Ridge subdivision or Riverside, MO can access I-29 or MO-45 quicker.
