As a KC property owner and business owner, I am a strong supporter of extending the KC Streetcar per planned expansions. Connecting UMKC to Downtown/Riverfront (and everything in between) will establish a strong spine through the heart of our city. Id also like to express my support for continued investments in bike/bus infrastructure to accompany the streetcar investments. Prioritized investments in sustainable transportation modes will help create a more resilient city for today and future generations.

I support the Main Street extension of the KCStreetcar. Extending the line through some of the densest areas of Kansas City will encourage connectivity and help reduce auto usage.

A Plaza extension is a natural decision. It would allow utilizing more existing resources along the corridor both in terms of existing destinations and better connecting users across multiple parts of town.

The Plaza is a marquee destination, if we want to keep it that way we must ensure high quality transit. It could also lessen the parking demand allowing for more community spaces or storefronts. This project is key to keeping kc competitive.

More streetcar is always a good thing. KC has been lucky to have a popular and successful starter system. We should keep the momentum going!

This expansion of the Kansas City Streetcar system is incredibility important for the whole region. The current system has demonstrated the great transit capability of the streetcar as well as the economic development capability of the streetcar. This is a high return-on-investment initiative that should be funded!
