Woodland Road is a significant north-south connection between Shawnee Mission Parkway and 83rd Street. The improvements will create an on-street bicycle route, connect to an existing share-the-road bicycle route and trail system, provide direct access to an activity center along the corridor, and establish a
new transit route along Woodland.
