Currently, a 10-ft. shared-use path trail runs via the Southern Platte Pass Trail along the southern portion of MO-Hwy 45; however, in between the intersections of the highway with Crooked Rd., there are no safe pedestrian connections across the highway.

Project Description: The intent of the project is to properly align N. Crooked Rd and S. Crooked Rd at their intersection with MO-Hwy 45. Currently the two intersections are spaced approximately 450 ft. apart and need to be re-aligned and signalized. The primary users are motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists.
Scope: Specific improvements include realigning the approaches of Crooked Rd. both north and south of MO-Hwy 45 to align at an intersection, and including pedestrian connections from the existing 10-ft. shared use path along the south side of the highway across to the north side.
