Project Description: Improve the safety of a two-mile stretch of MO-Hwy FF as it runs along steep cliffs overlooking the Missouri River and Platte Landing area and the embankment continues to erode each year. This project will also provide access to the Missouri Riverfront Trail, as well as increasing safety to vehicles and pedestrian traffic where MO-Hwy FF intersects with Main St. and MO-Hwy 9 in downtown Parkville, Mo.
Scope: Specific improvements include preserving and rehabilitating the deteriorating condition of MO-Hwy FF along steep cliffs overlooking the Missouri River as the embankment continues to erode each year. Scope includes maintenance of existing guard rails and installation of new guard rails where needed, and stabilizing the embankment.
