119th Street is an arterial street that connects commercial and residential developments to K-7 Highway. Bike lanes, shared use paths, and sidewalks will be constructed or upgraded. With an enhanced roadway system transit routes can be expanded. Connections will be made to the Gary Holler Trail System which is within this corridor.

Project Description: Extend 119th, Woodland Rd to Nelson Rd (Approximately 0.6 mile) Adding thru and turn lanes. Installing bike lanes. Installing sidewalks and shared use paths. Expected outcomes are added capacity, reduced and more reliable travel times, safer travel for all modes of transportation.
Scope: *Extend 119th, Woodland Rd to Nelson Rd (Approximately 0.6 mile) Adding thru and turn lanes. This will add capacity for motorists and improve travel times. Adding turn lanes at each intersection will also improve safety & capacity. *New Sidewalk or Shared Use Path constructed on each side of the street will provide safety for pedestrians and bicyclists.
