This project will entail extending Byars Road south one mile from MO 150 to East 155th Street. It includes improvements to existing City streets and construction of a new roadway. The project will add pedestrian improvements. The purpose of the project is to improve mobility for all modes of transportation.

9. Project description: The intent of the project is to improve capacity for all modes of transportation by building a new roadway. The primary users of this project are motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, and freight carriers.
10. Scope: This project will entail building approximately 1.0 mile of roadway. It includes added pedestrian and bicycle accomodations.
11. Project schedule: The project delivery method is anticipated to be design build in 2040-2050.
