This project will entail extending East 140th Street from Botts Road to Arrington Road. It includes improvements to existing City streets and construction of a new roadway over the Kansas City Southern Railroad. The project will add pedestrian improvements. The purpose of the project is to improve east/west mobility on the west side of Grandview for all modes of transportation.

Project Description: The intent of the project is to improve capacity for all modes of transportation by building a new roadway. The existing roadway is a two lane winding old county roadway with no shoulders and steep drop offs. The primary users of this project are motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, and freight carriers.
Scope: This project will entail building approximately 1.0 mile of roadway. It includes added pedestrian improvements.
