Project Description: This project will include the construction an expansion of the rural-type, two-lane Gilman Road to current standard three-lane facility to establish further economic development. It also includes construction of a ten-foot bicycle path and five-foot pedestrian sidewalk in accordance with Trails Master Plan and city policy. Primary users include motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists. Construction of bioswales will be included where efficient.
Scope: The project is approximately one mile and will restructure the roadway from two lanes to three lanes from a current complete roadway which terminates at the Willow Street intersection and continues westward to 147th Street. The project will also require a bridge.

I feel this project should happen sooner. To help with the high school traffic thru the Rock Creek community.
