This class is devoted to understanding forms in Access — an essential step in making a database into a user-friendly application. Participants will learn how to insert a variety of controls, which will simplify data input. This course also looks at the relationship between forms, queries and tables. Attendees have the opportunity to learn about calculations, expressions such as concatenation, and auto-lookup queries. NOTE: It is recommended that you take this class if you are planning to take the Advanced class, as there is a high level of similarity between form and report design. |

This is the third class in the Access series. Participants will learn about reporting features, automated database procedures with prompting queries, action queries and macros, and creating a startup to launch the database. Specific report features covered include page breaks, grouping, sorting and summaries. NOTE: The similarities between form and report creation is such that it is recommended you attend the Forms class before the Reports class. |
