This course provides local and state-level emergency
responders with an understanding of the duties,
responsibilities and capabilities of an effective liaison
officer. Students will participate in exercises, simulations, and discussions and complete a final exam.
Required
prerequisites include: IS 100, IS 200, IS 700, IS 800, ICS
300 and ICS 400.

Priority registration is reserved for emergency services personnel in the nine-county Kansas City metropolitan area: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri and Leavenworth, Johnson, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas area. There is no cost to attend. Class size is limited to 30.
