Desired Results Development Profile (DRDP) Training

Learn how to use this instrument to improve children's educational outcomes.

On June 18, 2013 the Missouri State Board of Education endorsed the Desired Results Development Profile (DRDP), designed by the California Department of Education, to be used as the standardized infant, toddler, preschool and school readiness assessment instrument for the state of Missouri.

As a result, the Metropolitan Council on Early Learning will host several two-day DRDP trainings for teachers, education coordinators and directors in Missouri. Day one of the training will include an orientation to the DRDP and instructions on how to use the DRDP for documentation and rating a child’s development. On day two, participants will learn how to conduct meaningful observation and develop a portfolio system.

There are 20 slots available and lunch will be provided. Participating teachers will receive a certificate and earn clock hours. Please RSVP by clicking on the desired registration date or call Jermain Whitmore at 816-701-8383.
