We know these driving forces will have a profound impact on our future, but exactly what that is — and how these forces will interact — is unclear. Anticipating what the future might bring is a key first step in successful regional planning.

Please join us for the first in a series of workshops to consider how demographic changes, global economic forces, new technologies, climate change and other key forces will affect the Kansas City region.

What excites you about the future? What scares you? What should we do about it? We’ll use your feedback to help develop strategies that best position the region for success and build a framework for long-range planning.

Who should attend: City and county administrators and staff, planners, civic and business leaders, elected officials, real estate developers and other parties interested in planning.
